Natural Paint and a Happy Result!

Image
*Disclaimer- I am not sponsored by any company and these thoughts and opinions are my own Today I wanted to share with you my success of latest furniture project! I love plants, and my living room has a gorgeous window that provides the bast light for all my lovely leafy plants. However, my collection is growing and I am running out of space to display them! So my darling lumberjack helped me build a window bench to accommodate all my green babies. Isn't he a keeper?! The bench is the perfect size and it actually gives me room for more plants. Perhaps I can finally start my indoor herb garden that I've been itching to try! The best part of this project would definitely be when we finished it off with my new CeCe Caldwell natural paint. I actually won this paint and finishing wax through a contest my local TV station was having. I've had them sitting on my shelf for almost a year now just waiting for the perfect project and low and behold that day has finally come!...

Organically healthy

Howdy Hey Neighbor! Tonight I though I would open up a little bit about my choice of living an organic and natural lifestyle. As alot of you know, I have only recently switched to using and consuming organic products over the past couple years. Its been a major lifestyle change and I have really been blessed by the results.  First I want to state that I have no agenda in getting my readers to change how they live their life, but I've had many questions of why I've changed so I've decided to share a little of my reasons for changing and in what ways I've seen it benefit my life. I hope this post is both educational and enlightening for you. I started this journey by switching to more natural products. Hello dear friends and followers, I want to welcome you all back for another post. Its been along time since I last wrote, almost three years in fact! A lot has changed but one thing I have tried to maintain is the search for contentment in the chaos. Why is this such an important task for me? Well if there is one thing I cherish about Paul it was his never failing search for contentment. It didn't matter that he was one ugly son of a gun or he faced numerous trials, prison, shipwreck, and snake bites- inconceivable experiences- yet through it all he learned to be content. This is what I desire. This contentment is something I truly believe will get me through life. So no matter what you are facing, or whatever trial you are wading through, dont forget to look for the contentment. If you do, you will find it leads to joy and make the chaos a little more manageable.
