Live like a Bird

So just the other day I had a conversation with a very dear friend about being content in our lives and how we need to trust God. Not only for provisions, such as food and clothing, but we also need to trust Him with our money, our jobs, and our desires. (Ps. 37:4) I had come across a quote that I had jotted down in a journal (shocking, I know! lol) by A.W. Tozer. "In almost everything that touches our everyday life on earth, God is pleased when we're pleased. He wills that we be as free as the birds to soar and sing our Maker's praise without anxiety." Blogging can't be that hard.... Can It?

Ok this my third attempt at blogging. The first blog shouldn't count. It was a college assignment that lasted three posts. (And boy! They were AWFUL.)  But the second blog was created with the intention of being a success. I was going to be one of those blogs that everyone wants to read. The one you find posted all over facebook and pinterest. But I'm pretty sure that one lasted two posts. *Sigh* Ok, I'll admit it.. I'm one of those girls who has twenty different journals with ten pages filled out. I cant help it, their adorable. Something about a new book with untouched pages is full of potential in the store. It calls out to me, and of course I buy it and my "journalism-experience" lasts about a week! But sadly I'm also one of those girls who tend to post alot of facebook.
